Franklin's Dances at the Village


Hello Beautiful Dancers,
 
I look forward to dancing with you very soon. Here's the info on my upcoming dances.
 
My dances will be starting on Tues. Oct. 18th, and every Tues. & Thurs. from that point on. All these dances will be at The Village Ballroom, and start at 8:00 PM.

My mixes are a bit different than any I've heard in Portland so far. My goal is to create a seamless mix, where one piece of music blends into the next, creating a journey where the energy flows in a beautiful arc. Here's a description of the potential in each of the dances I will present:
 
Tues. night-Euphoria: A Dance Odyssey- Explore your inner landscape. Take an Odyssey through your energetic and emotional bodies, turning off the distractions of the conscious mind, and identify what is up for you. Reframe this focus into its highest form, and hold this as an intention for the entire dance.
 
Thurs. night-The Morphic Field- Continuing the focus on the intention formed on Tues., and using the Law Of Attraction, and Conscious Language, draw into your life NOW, your greatest desires.
 
And, on an undetermined night in the near future (hopefully a Friday or Sunday night)-Immersion: Devotion In Dance- A chill version of ecstatic dance, where the energy remains low. If an ecstatic dance has an energy arc of zero to ten, Immersion goes from a zero to four or five, presenting an opportunity for Gratitude, Meditation, and Prayer through dance.
 
I believe that when I allow the music to enter my bones, bypassing my conscious mind, my body begins to move without my mind affecting my dance. In this state I know that every cell in my body is being rejuvenated, and any dis-ease whether known to me or not, is being neutralized, bringing me back to vitality.
 
These three dances, following each other closely offer an opportunity, if you choose, to take control of your destiny, and become an active participant in the creation of your reality.
 
Of course you can also come and just dance. If you would like to know what my mixes are like speak to someone who was at Sacred Circle on Sunday Oct. 9th, I did the mix and facilitated.
 
I'm excited to be moving to Portland and I look forward to seeing you soon at one of my dances.
